Important Legal Information
Please review these terms carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities while using Web Scraper products.
Last updated: November 5, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) between you and Web Scraper LLP (“Web Scraper”, “we”, “us”) govern access to our websites, browser extensions, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Services in any manner you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements to use the Services. Organizations must ensure the individual accepting the Terms has authority to bind the organization.
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, maintaining accurate account information, and promptly notifying us of unauthorized activity. Web Scraper is not liable for losses arising from credential misuse that you could have prevented.
3. Service Access & Availability
We strive to provide reliable, high-availability Services, but uptime is not guaranteed. Planned maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, or factors beyond our control may affect availability.
We may modify or discontinue features, impose limits on certain functionality, or suspend access when necessary to protect platform integrity.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Services responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party terms.
- Do not deploy scraping flows that infringe intellectual property rights or intentionally bypass protective measures.
- Respect website robots.txt directives and rate limits where legally required.
- Refrain from transmitting malicious code, launching denial-of-service attacks, or engaging in disruptive behavior.
- Avoid using the Services to collect personal data without proper notice or consent where required by law.
5. API Usage & Automation
API keys are issued to individual accounts and must not be shared outside of your organization. You are responsible for all requests made with your keys.
We may rate-limit or throttle API requests to maintain service quality. Automated usage that threatens platform stability may result in suspension or termination.
6. Subscription Plans & Payment
Subscriptions are billed upfront at the start of each term. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.
Taxes, bank fees, currency exchange costs, or other charges associated with payment processing are your responsibility.
Plan upgrades charge the full higher-plan monthly fee immediately, start a fresh billing period, and make the new plan effective right away.
Plan downgrades are scheduled for the next renewal date; higher-plan features remain active until that billing period ends and we do not issue refunds for unused time.
7. Termination & Suspension
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account portal. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not entitle you to refunds for prior charges.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access immediately if we detect violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, non-payment, or actions that compromise the security of the Services.
8. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, service marks, product names, and source code associated with Web Scraper remain our exclusive property or the property of our licensors.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services strictly in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are conveyed by implication or otherwise.
9. Warranties & Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Web Scraper disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that scraping results will always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your intended use. You are solely responsible for verifying output before relying on it.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Web Scraper will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amounts paid to Web Scraper in the six months preceding the event or one hundred (100) US dollars.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Web Scraper, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in London, United Kingdom, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from the Terms or the Services.
Nothing in this section limits our ability to seek injunctive relief to protect our intellectual property or confidential information.
13. Changes to the Terms
We may revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated via email. Updated Terms become effective upon publication unless otherwise stated.
Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
